SEX EDUCATION WORKSHOPS WITH 100 TEENAGERS.

WORKSHOPS:
In the winter and spring of 2019, we met 100 teenagers (7th, 8th and 9th graders) who participated in sex education workshops organised by us at the Internationella Engelska Skolan in Stockholm. During our meetings, we discussed their approach towards puberty and sex. We also spoke about shame related to human sexuality. Each workshop session took 45 minutes, beginning with a simple drawing exercise and summing up with assembling pieces from EROEDU toolkit. While meeting teenagers, the pieces from EROEDU tool kit were tested and developed according to their feedback. After a couple of months, the verdict was one - interacting with physical objects while learning about human sexuality helped my experts in understanding how our bodies are built. It also made them memorise what they learned longer than before!
